I was in a bit of a depressed mood last week when the Sungold solar panel, Harry and I’s only source of electricity, fell, which I had thought would cause a significant amount of damage.
Four days later we arrived in Larzaro Cardenas, which I’ll shorten to Lhasa, as funny a name as the capital city of Tibet.
We passed by a local aluminum window and door store, which at first had only two apprentices in the store, and I talked to them about the damage to the solar frame. They were a little hesitant about where to start with the repair. Finally they brought the master to discuss the solution together.
Finally, they decided to make the corner code and assemble it on the original material, and decided to use the simplest and most reliable way to fix it, pins and rivets.
We all worked together to fix the solar panel back, and tested it in the sunlight and found that it was still working, so I admired that Sungold solar panels are really durable and sturdy. Of course, I am very grateful to them for their hard work in repairing it.
When it was time to pay, I asked the two apprentices how much I had to pay. They told me to ask their eldest apprentice, but his answer was surprising because he told me it was free. I was impressed, but I still tried to get them to charge for the repair and failed, and I ended up treating them to ice cream in return.
I couldn’t help but appreciate how light and flexible Sungold’s flexible solar panels are, and how much more durable they are than I thought they would be. I thought the solar cells were fragile, but apart from holding up well over the bumps, it was in perfect condition and completely unaffected by the crash.
Thank you to these friendly and kind people for making the world and dreams more beautiful ………….
