Operation Guide
Lay the solar panel flat in an open area, making sure it faces direct sunlight. If necessary, an optional bracket can be used for support.
Avoid any shadowed areas to optimize energy production.
In most cases, the solar charger cannot provide full rated power. Here are some tips to optimize efficiency:
- Perfect sunlight direction: Make sure the solar panel faces directly into the sun to maximize output power. The ideal tilt angle is 90 degrees from the horizontal.
- Eliminate shadows: Make sure the surface of the solar charger is not blocked and avoid shadows caused by weather, covers or other obstacles to increase power output.
- Offset surface temperature increase: The power output is affected by the surface temperature. The lower the temperature, the higher the power output. In the summer, the surface temperature can reach 131°F / 55°C, which may cause a power reduction of more than 10%.
- Keep clean: Clean the solar panel regularly to avoid dust and dirt accumulation. The PVF surface material is easy to clean.
