Sungold solar panels 200 watt BXF-N-D-4*50W
How do the solar panels 200 watt work?
Photovoltaic Effect: A solar panel consists of multiple solar cells. They are usually made of silicon. When sunlight hits the solar panel, electrons are excited, creating an electric field. This is called the photovoltaic effect.
Electron flow: Electrons that are excited and move. This movement produces an electric current.
Power Generation: Solar cells are connected in series within the solar panel. This further allows the flow of electrons to accumulate electrons and put them in, thus generating an electric current.
Grid Generator Power Consumption: The current generated by the solar panels is consumed directly by your appliances.
How much power does Solar panels 200 watt produce?
How much electricity solar panels 200 watt generate depends on several factors. The voltage they provide, the time of day, the geographical location and the inverter losses are all important. Let’s assume the ideal conditions for a 6-hour day:
200 watts/12 volts = 16.7 amps
16.7 Amps X 6 hours of sunlight per day = 100 Amps
100 Amp X 0.9 (10% solar inverter losses) = 90 Apm
This means that your solar panels will be able to generate up to 90 amps of usable power. This is enough to charge one 100 Amp battery or two batteries of 50 Amps each. Your panels may produce less power in an hour and it may take longer than a day to fully charge your batteries, depending on your area.
